Koenji. An apartment corridor repeats impossibly. Rika throws a coin; it returns behind her boot. She crouches to inspect a pink seam in the baseboard.
Mallow: 三周目です。 / Third lap.
Rika: マジか。 / Seriously?

The corridor folds inward. Rika braces the collapsing wall with REDLINE while Mallow steadies the join.
Rika: 下がって。 / Stay back.
Rika: そこ、押さえて。 / Hold that seam.
Mallow: 長くは無理です。 / Not for long.
Rika: 十分。 / Enough.

Mallow clears the blade as Rika cuts the join. A collapsing edge grazes her hip. Her Crest flashes at an accidental touch from someone outside the frame.
Rika: 離れて！ / Clear!
Caption: 誰かの指先が、紋章に触れた。 / Someone's fingertips brushed her Crest.

The hallway is straight again. Rika checks the unseen civilian, then takes a dish towel. In the kitchen, she puts a knee on a chair, presses the towel to her hip with her left hand, and holds REDLINE in her right. Something scrapes beyond the door.
Rika: ケガは？ / Are you hurt?
Mallow: 出血しています。 / You're bleeding.
Rika: 知ってる。 / Noticed.
